you stay with us for your next offshore charter fishing adventure in our newly revovated lodge in Venice, Louisiana.
DESCRIPTION - The interior has a total of 4 bunkrooms with 2 baths divided into two separate sleeping areas by a large great room, dining area and bar. Each half accommodates 8 collectively with two bedrooms sharing a common bath. (See floor plan below) The living room offers seating for 12 on two sectional sofas, bean bags and a chaise lounge. Our modern kitchen is stocked with all things good and finished with new appliances, granite tops and custom cabinetry. The five man bar, and ten man dining table offer ample space for eating, playing cards or relaxing while telling lies. For added convenience, there is a washer/dryer, extra drink refrigerator inside and an 8'x4' deep freeze outside. We furnish all the necessary household items you would need, except food and drinks.
We also have a 25x30 covered area out back with and attached deck and breezeway. This area also connects the main house with an outdoor bath (1 stall and 2 showers) and changing room with an additional 4 bunks. We have gas and charcoal grills, seafood boilers for crabs, shrimp and crawfish and table for laying them out to cool and eat. Crawfish are caught in abundance in the canal behind the lodge in the spring. We have 5 traps and nets available.
RATES - We can accommodate groups as large as eighteen (18) guests, although 6-12 guests is our normal occupancy. Groups of 6 or less who desire to reserve the whole lodge can rent the whole place for 350$ a night. each additional person is 50$ per person. Weekly rates are 1750$ for groups of 7 or less and 2000$ for 8-12.

DEPOSIT AND DICLAIMER - Credit card secured deposit of 50% is required with all reservations. We require 14 days advance notice by email or telephone confirmation for cancellation. Our lodging cancellation policy is the same as our weather cancellation policy and you will not be charged a deposit if weather cancels your fishing trip. There is no obligation to stay in our lodge if you are fishing with us and we reserve the right to remove occupants for indecent or illegal bahavior.

DIRECTIONS. From Interstate 10 follow signs to New Orleans merging onto US 90 Business West (WESTBANK EXPRWY) near the Superdome and crossing over the Mississippi River via the Greater New Orleans Bridge toward the Westbank Expressway (90 Business West). Take the Terry Parkway exit (middle lane at base of bridge),follow Terry Parkway 3-4 miles to Highway 23 (Belle Chase Hwy) and take left (RR crossing and Starbucks at corner). Follow for 65 miles to Venice. The physical address is 42178 Highway 23 Venice, LA 70091. We are located on the right side (bayside) of Highway 23 South just past Bluefin Boat Storage. The north border of the property line starts at mile marker 2 and our mailbox is black and blue like a blue marlin's stiripes. The lodge is set 100 yards off the road and is easy to pass up..Watch the mile markers as you get toward the end and slow down at mile marker 2 taking a right into our driveway. Large water oak in front yard building is red brick exterior and red metal roof atop.
